Mensing Law LLC Turns Fifteen
This month, Mensing Law LLC turns fifteen. Since 2011, I have built this practice doing one thing and doing it well: standing with employees. Not companies, not insurers, not the side with the most leverage. The workers.
Over fifteen years, that has meant taking on discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. It has meant fighting for people who were pushed out, shorted on wages, or punished for doing the right thing. It has meant reviewing the severance agreement that did not feel fair and negotiating something better. The matters change, but the mission has not.
What I am proudest of is harder to put on a timeline. It is the clients who trusted me with the worst moments of their working lives, and the trust I worked to earn back every single day. A practice is only ever as good as the people who let you fight for them, and I have been fortunate in mine.
Fifteen years in, the work feels as urgent as it did at the start. I am grateful for every client who got me here, and I am building the next fifteen the only way I know how. One year at a time.
